The first phase of the Biden-Kamala lawfare against President Trump failed. Jack Smith, Alvin Bragg, and Fani Willis all had the same goal – derailing President Trump’s campaign.
Rachel Maddow even floated the theory that President Trump would leave the race due to the indictment for possessing classified documents in Florida, suggesting that he could make a plea deal in which he drops out of the presidential race in exchange for no prison time. They wanted these cases to destroy his presidential campaign and the America First movement.
In fact, the lawfare backfired. It’s not just that President Trump steamrolled the competition in the Republican primary, but voters generally have stood in opposition to the weaponization of our legal system. A majority of independent voters opposed Jack Smith’s bogus January 6 indictment, for example.
President Trump still has to contend with sentencing next month from New York’s Judge Merchan, which will get quickly stayed by the Supreme Court if the corrupt judge actually follows through, but it’s fair to say that the lawfare failed to have its intended effect. So what’s next?
We saw what happened in 2020—what’s next is the Democrats will try to rig and steal the election. Any means justify the ends of defeating Donald Trump for the left. They tried to bankrupt him, imprison him, and take him off of ballots. They even took out their own nominee with a bloodless coup, and people forget that the Biden-Kamala administration intentionally underfunded President Trump’s Secret Service detail the day he was shot.
With all this in mind, the Article III Project didn’t sit back and let the left’s lawfare against President Trump occur unchallenged. And we won’t sit back and watch the left undermine our elections. The Article III Project is going to spend the rest of the year with a single-track focus on fighting to secure our elections.
The left is already working to undermine good legislation passed by conservatives. Just take a look at what’s happening in Arizona. The state passed legislation that requires proof of citizenship in order to vote in a presidential election. Leftwing groups, however, were able to find a judge to strike down the law.
Now, the RNC is filing for an emergency stay pending a Supreme Court appeal. Conservatives have to catch up to the left’s sordid game. Democrat election attorney Marc Elias has sowed chaos in our election system for many years. Just this year, Elias secured a reversal of a Wisconsin State Supreme Court decision that banned the use of ballot drop boxes.
And in North Carolina, Democrats are fighting to block a new law that requires mail-in ballots to arrive at election offices by Election Day. That’s common sense, so naturally Democrats want to reject it to make for a more fraud-friendly environment.
The Article III Project took the fight to the left on its weaponization of the legal system. We exposed Matthew Colangelo, who deployed from the #3 office in the Biden-Harris Justice Department to Soros-funded Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s staff. We held judges accountable for breaking judicial ethics in their zeal to get President Trump. And we made it known that the Presidential Records Act exonerated President Trump after the Mar-A-Lago raid.
The lawfare war is not over. Our next battle is to ensure the left doesn’t rig and steal the November election. The Article III Project will fill a critical void from 2020. We will provide the necessary political cover to–and steel the spines of–conservative election officials, attorneys, and judges. They must follow America’s democratically enacted election laws. They must ensure free and fair elections. And we must ensure they don’t get personally destroyed in the process.
Finally, we will ferociously call out leftwing election officials, attorneys, and judges who rig and steal elections.
As President Trump reminds us, we need to fight.
Lawsuits won’t be enough. The RNC will have to coordinate with local law enforcement. The cops & sheriffs know where ballots are warehoused. They also know how to watch for with trucks heading to counting centers at 2am. They have every legal right to stop and detain these efforts.
I am in New Jersey, having a conservative Representative, Chris Smith. I am volunteering my services to call him and make the case for whatever is necessary. Ditto for the State Legislature, which changed the statutes for the governor’s sake.
